PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT - APPS - Koha: Charity Donations & Tax Receipts

You are required to explicitly consent to allow the app to use these Access Scopes when you install the app.

What do we use this information for?
    • Read Orders:
      • To retrieve the information for the order that the customer has submitted, so that we can calculate the donation amount and tax receipt information for that order and issue a tax receipt to the customer by email.
      • Specifically, we do retrieve and store the following personal information from the order:
        • Customer's name
        • Customer's email address
        • Customer's billing address
        • Order number
        • Order date
        • Order total
        • Order line items
      • We don't retrieve and store the following personal information from the order:
        • Customer's phone number

  • Read / Write Products:
    • To retrieve the information for the product that the customer has purchased, so that we can calculate the donation amount and tax receipt. And also to allow the merchant to update the donation status and percentage for the product. This is done through the use of Shopify metafields linked to the Koha app, and your store's base product information is not modified in any way.

Merchant's Customers:

The Koha app does not collect any additional personal information from your customers, other than the information that is already collected by Shopify when a customer places an order on your store, as detailed above.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT - APPS - Superspeed

After you install the Superspeed App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, and make changes to parts of your Shopify store ("Access Scopes"): Read Shop Information, Read and Write Script Tags.

You are required to explicitly consent to allow the app to use these Access Scopes when you install the app.

Additionally, as an enhanced feature of the Superspeed app, you can opt-in to provide the app with access to a chosen Analytics Provider (e.g. Google Analytics). This access is used to fetch anonymous aggregated usage patterns of visitors to your store's website.  This usage data is then used to predict which page is most likely to be visited next so that the Superspeed app can initiate a pre-load or pre-fetch action in order to enhance the website's perceived responsiveness and speed.

Use of Google user data obtained via Restricted and Sensitive Scopes:

The Superspeed app's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Merchant's Customers:

When the the Superspeed app is installed on your store website, the app is sent the current page a visitor to your store's website is currently on and uses that to predict which page is most likely to be visited next.

The visitor information sent to the Superspeed app is limited to:

  • The origin (i.e. the base URL for the website, e.g. "your-store.myshopify.com")
  • The current page path (i.e. the part of the URL after the origin, e.g. "/products/a-product")
  • The client connection type (i.e. what speed of connection the visitor's browser currently has, e.g. "4g")
  • The client platform (i.e. a string identifying the platform on which the user's browser is running, e.g. "Mac")

This visitor information is anonymous and not stored by the Superspeed app.
